As the Sheraton brand is about creating unique, meaningful experiences for guests, our design for the hotel builds on that with the purpose of connecting individuals with their surroundings, with themselves and with fellow travellers.

Drawing inspiration from Sri Lanka’s beautiful landscape and natural resources, curated palettes of timber and stone finishes are proposed for various surfaces, from the walls and millwork to accent details on furniture pieces. Fabrics such as leather and silk used on door handles and as wall coverings add tactility and warmth, enhancing one’s consciousness of the surroundings. To encourage mingling, spaces such as pre-function and dining areas exude warmth. The 5th storey terrace with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean provides a meditative sphere to soak in some me-time.
